Either:
Select an MP or Candidate from the drop-down list of MPs and Candidates. (See below: 1)
Search the Record for MPs or Candidates by their surname by
clicking on a letter

Bring up a list of all MPs by clicking
All
. (See below: 3)
You may sort MPs and Candidates by name, constituency or party allegiance by clicking on the
Sort
arrows (see below).
You may then access any of the MPs or Candidates from these lists by clicking on their name, save the results of your search to your reports by clicking on
Save to My Saved Reports
or download the results to your computer by clicking on
Download Results
.
Browsing by Constituency
Under

Browsing by Region
Under

Browsing by Parliamentary Committee

Browsing by All-Party Group
Under

. This will bring you to the

Choose a group from one of the drop-down lists of committees, depending on whether it is a group focused on a country or on a subject.
You may sort members of that group by name, post or party allegiance by clicking on the
Sort
arrows.
You may then access any of the MPs or Candidates from these lists by clicking on their name, save the results of your search to your reports by clicking on
Save to My Saved Reports
or download the results to your computer by clicking on
Download Results
.
Searching by a Term
Under
Search & Select
, click
Simple Word Search
. This will bring you to the
Simple Word Search
page.
Type in a term you would like to search the Record for and then press
Submit Search
.
You may then skip to a particular section of the results, or simply browse the results that come up. (See below)
You may then access any of the MPs or Candidates from these lists by clicking on their name, save the results of your search to your reports by clicking on
Save to My Saved Reports
or download the results to your computer by clicking on
Download Results
.
Searching by Personal Details
Under
Search & Select

. This will bring you to the

page.
Choose a search parameter and click
Search
. You may search for several criteria, for instance, divorced with two children.
If you wish to refine your search, open the
Generic Filter
pane (see below). This will allow you to refine searches by party, region, age and so on.
You may then access any of the MPs or Candidates from these lists by clicking on their name, save the results of your search to your reports by clicking on
Save to My Saved Reports
or download the results to your computer by clicking on

Searching by Educational History
Under

Choose either

by clicking on their respective tabs. (See below)

Search the Record for schools or universities by their names by
clicking on a letter

Bring up a list of all schools or universities by clicking

You may refine your search by clicking on
Advanced Search
under

in the list on the left of the screen. This will bring you to the
Education – Advanced Search
page. This presents further parameters to search, which can be further expanded by opening the
Generic Filter
pane. If you wish to return to the original search page, simply click on
Simple Search
in the list on the left of the screen.

Searching by Career
Depending on your search preference, click either
Non-Parliamentary Career

Parliamentary Career

Choose which sector of the MP or Candidate’s career (for example,

Select Committee
and so on)
by clicking on their respective tabs.
Either:
Select an organisation from the drop-down list.
Search the Record for organisations by
clicking on a letter
.
Bring up a list of all organisations by clicking on
All
.
You may refine your search by clicking on
Advanced Search
in the list on the left of the screen. This will bring you to the
Advanced Search
page. This presents further parameters to search, which can be further expanded by opening the

Search for MPs and Candidates with a particular political interest by choosing a category of interests from the

drop-down box.
Search an MP who asks the most questions in Parliament by choosing a category of interests from the
Asks most questions about
drop-down box.
If you wish to refine your search, open the
Generic Filter
pane. This will allow you to refine searches by party, region, age and so on.
You may then access any of the MPs or Candidates from these lists by clicking on their name, save the results of your search to your reports by clicking on

Searching by Countries of Interest
Under
Search & Select
, click
Countries of Interest
. This will bring you to the
Countries of Interest
page.
Either:
Search for MPs with a particular interest in a country by first choosing a global region from the
Continent of Interest
drop-down box and then a country from the
Country of Interest
drop-down box.
Search for MPs who are office-holding members of a All Party Country Group by choosing a country in the
All Party Country Group
drop-down box.
Search for MPs or Candidates who were born in a particular country by choosing a country from the
Country of Birth
drop-down box.
Search for MPs or Candidates who were schooled in a particular country by choosing a country from the
Schooled in Country
drop-down box.
Search for MPs or Candidates who received further education in a particular country by choosing a country from the
Further Education in Country
drop-down box.
If you wish to refine your search, open the
